So, you have finished your Yoga Teacher Training and you are raring to go but don’t know where to start? The first things you should be doing is to find out who your ideal client is.
Why is it so important to know who your ideal client is? Now, imagine you are putting on a beginners workshop, you spend your time preparing the sequence, the music, spend money on advertising. You are getting excited about the workshop and create excitement on your social media. And then, on the day no one shows up. I’ve been there, believe me.
This is where you need to know who your ideal client is. In the above example, your ideal client might have been someone that is more advanced and an improver workshop might have been better than a beginners workshop. Knowing who your ideal client is from the get-go will help you not only with your offerings but also with your branding, your lead magnets and of course your advertising.
Trying to reach everyone with your advertising isn’t very cost effective, therefore you have to size your audience down. When it comes to Facebook ads etc, it most likely will take some tuning until you find your ‘perfect’ audience.
