This has been another very busy week. It seems like 2018 is just not slowing down at all and I seem to be going 9000 miles an hour all the time. Sleep hasn’t been that great this week, I woke up numerous nights because of different reasons (wind, rain, etc) and some nights I was unable to go back to sleep. Those nights are the worst. No matter what I do, some nights I just can’t go back to sleep. Not even yoga nidra work in those times and that is usually my safe play to go to sleep.
I had my first ever coaching session this week. I was really apprehensive about it before as I wasn’t sure what to expect but the call went really well. There was obviously nothing to be afraid of. The coach was a really lovely lady and she really made me believe in myself. After the call, I felt so much more positive and excited about the year ahead. We made a plan for the whole year, which has really helped me and I’m using it as a blueprint now. It’s good and helpful to have monthly goals and have them written down. I’m quite a visual person and need to see things written down, that helps me see the path ahead of me and then work towards those goals. If you are stuck and have the chance getting coached, I can highly recommend it. It really makes a difference as long as you want it to be.
The weekend was less stressful, which was great. I taught my two yoga classes on Saturday and I really loved it. Two completely different classes, energies and students but both are so precious to me. I managed to organise a few pop-up events for the upcoming months, so stay tuned for the announcements. If you are in Brighton, you do not want to miss those. On Sunday I treated myself to a day retreat in London. It was well needed and I am feeling so much calmer and zen. I will write up something about the day retreat on Friday.
Have a good week, talk to you next week.
